Ohio State students react on social media to active shooter reports

COLUMBUS - There are reports of at least one active shooter on Ohio State University's main campus in Columbus.

WCMH reports that at least seven people have been hospitalized but the extent of injuries is currently unknown.

Campus police issued an alert just before 10 a.m. warning students of an active shooters near Watts Hall.

Some students, faculty and people on campus have turned to social media to relay what they're seeing.

Some students say a car jumped a curb and attempted to hit pedestrians before the reported shootings. Another student says a second suspects remains at large. WCMH also reports that one professor says a colleague was slashed with a machete:
