Police are investigating two separate shootings, two dead in Norfolk

Norfolk police are investigating three shooting incidents and in all, three men were killed.

NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- Norfolk Police are investigating two shootings Tuesday night.

The first shooting was on the 600 block of Dudley Avenue at 7:09 p.m. Police arrived and discovered a 17-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound.

The teen was transported to Sentara Norfolk General where he is expected to be okay.

No suspect information or motive has been released at this time.

The second shooting was called in at 7:15 p.m.

The deadly shooting occurred on Northampton Boulevard and N. Military Highway. Two people died.

When police arrived on the scene they located two abandoned vehicles in the eastbound lanes of Northampton Blvd.

Not far from the cars, police found 27-year-old Dwight Walker Jr. and 25-year-old Shaquille T. Turner suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were pronounced dead on the scene.

Police believe the shootings were a result of a murder-suicide.
