Hampton police searching for homicide suspect

A man in Hampton was shot to death while sitting in his car, the victim's car then crashed into a home.

HAMPTON, Va. (WVEC) -- Police are looking for a suspect in a shooting that left one man dead Monday evening.

The shooting happened in the 200 block of Derosa Drive just before 7 p.m.

The victim, Johnathan Matthew Bradley, 25, from Hampton suffered from multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead on the scene.

According to police, Bradley was sitting in a parked car when someone passing by in another car shot him. After being shot, the victim attempted to drive away but ended up driving into a house. 

It is unclear if anyone inside the house was injured. 

The suspect drove away after the shooting. Investigators are working to learn the description of the suspect and what kind of car they were driving. 

Motive and circumstances surrounding the incident also remain unclear and are being investigated.
