Police search for serial robber in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- Police are asking for the public's help identifying a man who robbed several gas stations in less than a month. 

The robberies happened at three gas stations at various times of the day:

  • Fast Trek CITGO on Azalea Garden Road at 4:45 p.m. on Sunday, September 24
  • Sunoco gas station on Princess Anne Road at 8:40 p.m. on Sunday, October 1
  • Shell gas station on Princess Anne Road at 3:05 p.m. on Thursday, October 12

In all three robberies the man walked into the gas station with a gun and demanded money. All three clerks handed over the cash and the suspect left. 

No injuries have been reported. 

The suspect is described at a black man in his late twenties to early thirties. He is around 6' tall and weighs roughly 200 pounds. In all three robberies he wore a Chicago Bulls hat.
