Portsmouth Title Max Loans robbed at gunpoint

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WVEC) -- Police are investigating an armed robbery, Wednesday evening.

The robbery occurred at the Title Max Loans on Victory Blvd. 

Officers were called to the business at around 5 p.m. 

Upon arrival, officials learned that two men entered the business wearing masks and then demanded money from the employees at gunpoint. The employees gave in to the suspects demands.

No one was hurt in this robbery. 

This is the second armed robbery of a Portsmouth Title Max Loans in three days. 

The first robbery occurred at the Title Max Loans on Airline Blvd.

Two men entered the Airline Blvd. store wearing masks and robbed the business also at gunpoint.

Police have not said that these two robberies are connected.
