Shooting in Portsmouth left two juveniles injured

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WVEC) -- Portsmouth police are investigating a shooting Saturday night that left two people injured.

Around 7:45 p.m., dispatch received a call from the 3500 block of Graham Street for a juvenile male who had been shot. 

After officers arrived on scene, they discovered the victim was shot in the area of Lexington Drive and Columbus Avenue. 

Police found a 17-year-old male victim suffering from non-life threatening injuries to his leg.

A few moments later they found the second victim, a 16-year-old male who had non-life threatening injuries to his foot. 

Both men were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Authorities say they do not have a suspect or a motive in this case, and anyone with information is asked to call police at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.

No further information was released.
