Suffolk fraud suspects turn themselves in

SUFFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- Three fraud suspects turned themselves in on Tuesday.

The suspects tried convincing people to give them their debit cards and pins in return for free money.

Instead the suspects would take money from their accounts.

Maya Jilvonnie Rodgers, 21, Daron Lindelle Gary, 27, and Kevon Latrel Anderson, 20, would deposit fake checks into the victim's accounts before making withdraws.

Rodgers and Gary are from Suffolk, and Anderson is from Smithfield.

They each are charged with forgery and a felony charge for obtaining money by false pretense.
