Two arrested connected to stabbing in Suffolk

SUFFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- Two suspects have been arrested on Friday following an investigation of a stabbing incident that happened on Thursday.

Police were contacted about an adult male suffering from a stab wound in a parking lot at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

The victim, Nathaniel Jerome Hart, 35, was located at the 400 block of Carolina Road before he was transported to a nearby hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Fantasia Aimee Lowrance, 33, of Gates, North Carolina and Reshawn Phillips, 40 of Suffolk were arrested for Malicious Wounding.

Both suspects are currently being held at Western Tidewater Regional Jail.

According to police, the victim and the suspects knew each other.
