Two men arrested, possession of stolen firearm in Elizabeth City

ELIZABETH CITY, N.C., (WVEC) -- Two men have been arrested in Elizabeth City on Friday for possession of stolen firearms.

At 12:43 a.m. officers arrested Karem Diaz Felton, 24, and Tay'Quan Shakeei Coleman, 19.

Felton was arrested for possession of a stolen firearm, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver, maintaining a place to keep drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

He is from the 1600 block of Weeksville Road in Elizabeth City, and was given a $35,000 secured bond and posted bond at the Magistrate's Office.

Coleman, from the 100 block of Wynne Ford Road Hertford, N.C., was arrested for Possession of a stolen firearm and posses/ sell/ buy alter gun serial number.

He was given a $25,000 secured bond and transported to Albemarle District Jail. 

No further information was released.
