Bill Dee steps down as head coach at Oscar Smith

After one year as head coach at Oscar Smith High School, Bill Dee told his players today that he was stepping down from that position.

Make a list of the all time great football coaches in the state and you would have to make room for Dee on the that list. 

He coached at Phoebus from 1985 to 2009 and led the Phantoms to 4 states titles.

He made the move to college coaching but returned to the high school ranks this past season after Richard Morgan left the program at Oscar Smith.

Dee coached the Tigers to the state championship game where they lost in double overtime. Oscar Smith finished with a record of (13-2).
