Crusaders fall to IMG

The Crusaders couldn't hold a 4th quarter lead and lost to the nationally ranked Ascenders 16-6.

For the better part of 3 quarters, Bishop Sullivan controlled IMG Academy of Bradenton, Florida. After the Crusaders jumped out to an early 6-0 lead, the Ascenders proceeded to score 16 straight points (all in the 4th quarter) and won 16-6.

IMG ranked 2nd in the country in several national polls that included USA Today. Bishop Sullivan took a first quarter lead when, Jake Low scored on a 3 yard touchdown run, but the point after was missed. They held the lead into the 4th quarter before the Ascenders got on the board care of a Kellen Mond (Texas A&M commit) going over from a yard out to take their first lead at 7-6. They would add another score care of Trey McKitty (Oregon commit) 91 yard catch for another touchdown and a safety.
