Hampton snaps 3 game losing skid

The Pirates broke their 3 game losing streak in style with an 86-53 rout of Appalachian State.

Hampton U. broke a three game losing streak with an impressive 86-53 win over Appalachian State Wednesday night at the Convocation Center in Hampton.

Trailing 16-12 in the first half the Pirates went on a 22-4 run to grab a 17 point lead at halftime. They expanded the lead in the second half.

Malique Trent-Street led the Pirates in scoring with 21 points. Jermaine Marrow had a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds. He added 6 assists to his stat line.
