With the Redskins minicamp officially in the books, safety, DeAngelo Hall was still putting in work on the sidelines. As he enters his 14th NFL season (the last 10 in Washington), the Chesapeake native is battling back from a torn ACL in his right knee. He injured it in a week 3 win over the New York Giants. "Not 100 percent obviously, but I feel good", he said. Due to achillies, toe and knee injuries, the 33 year old has played in just 17 games over the past three seasons.
Hall also had to adjust financially as well. He agreed to restructure his current contract going from just over $4 million dollars to $2.3 million. For now, he has to continue to rehab with the possible goal of gettng ready for training camp at the end of July.
