The subject of football took a back seat briefly in the NFL on Sunday. All around the league, some players, coaches and even owners took part in a stand against comments made by President, Donald Trump. It was the case last night before the Redskins game with the Raiders from Fed Ex Field in Landover, Maryland. Both sides either stood and locked arms, sat or took a knee and it included Washington owner, Daniel Snyder.
It was in response to the President's comments last Friday about NFL players being fired who kneeled during the national anthem. 13 Sports Director, Scott Cash spoke with several Redskins players after the game.
