Second half run carries ODU over Spiders

The Monarchs went on a 20-0 run to start the second half and never looked back on their way to a 79-60 win.

Bring on the other Richmond school and flip the script. It all worked for ODU in their 79-60 win over the Richmond Spiders at the Constant Center on Wednesday night.

Just last weekend, the Monarchs went cold in the second half and let an eleven point lead slip away to VCU. Against the Spiders, ODU scored the first 20 points of the second half and never let up.

Ahmad Caver had 14 points, 12 assists and 6 rebounds. B.J. Stith had a double double. He had a game high 21 points and 10 rebounds. Trey Porter had a career best 6 blocks on the night.
