JAMES CITY CO.-- Police need help identifying a gunman who allegedly robbed a Shell Station in James City County on Oct. 27.

Police say the male suspect entered the business located at 1301 Jamestown Rd. armed with a handgun and threatened the store clerk.

According to police, when the suspect went behind the counter to the register the clerk ran out the door.

Officials say the suspect chased him but then went back inside and stole cash out of the register.

The suspect allegedly ran from the store to the Colony Square Shopping Center behind the business and jumped into a black sedan vehicle believed to be occupied by two black females.

The clerk was not injured.

The suspect is described to be a light-skinned black or Hispanic male approximately 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall.

The suspect was wearing a long-sleeve black shirt, tan pants that possibly had knee pads under them, and black and white tennis shoes.

Although the suspect is attempting to conceal his face with pantyhose, police feel that someone will recognize him.
