Minimum two years experience producing daily newscast at a commercial television station. The news producer will create a fresh, concise and urgent newscast using all sources of news gathering and production techniques.

Must tell compelling stories, and know how to use graphics to tell those stories. Responsible for timing and controlling the flow of the newscast in the booth, for directing reporters, and making decisions during live newscasts. Must have the ability to solve problems and maintain the quality of the product. Supervises reporters in their assignments.

Position requires some overtime and weekend cover. This is not a position for beginners. Come join a major player in the industry, and live in a place people across the country visit for vacation!
