NORFOLK -- Bond was revoked in Circuit Court Tuesday for a city employee facing sexual assault charges.
A juvenile court judge allowed bond on Friday for 54-year-old Jay Conova Burton, who faces seven felony charges involving several alleged victims of sexual abuse.
Burton was released from jail on Friday but was taken back into custody on Tuesday.
A young male told investigators that Burton had assaulted him on numerous occasions at Burton's residence since 2008.
There was originally only one alleged child victim, but now there are three, according to Amanda Howie with the Commonwealth's Attorneys Office.
Police believe Burton has worked at a number of recreation centers in Norfolk, including his current position at the Titustown Recreation Center.
