CHESAPEAKE-A family of four escaped fire in their Chesapeake home early Friday.

Crews say flames were coming from the two-story house on Cricket Hollow Lane when they arrived around 5:45 a.m.

A neighbor says the couple and their two children got out and weren't hurt.

They've made arrangements to stay elsewhere because home was significantly damaged, said Capt. Scott Saunders with Chesapeake Fire Dept.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
