NORFOLK -- First floor residents of Grace Place, an independent living facility that caught fire last week, were allowed to return to their homes Thursday.

After the fire damaged the three-floor building, dozens of residents had to find temporary housing.

Administrators said they hope second floor residents can return to their homes over the weekend.

The top floor, however, sustained heavy damage, and officials are not sure when all of the residents will be able to move back in.
