NORFOLK-- According to the DEA, most of the drugs commonly abused by teenagers aren't coming off the streets, they're coming from the medicine cabinet.

In an effort to keep prescription drugs out of the wrong hands, several police departments in Hampton Roads announced details Friday for the DEA's annual drug drop off.

You can drop off your prescription drugs on Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at various sites across Hampton Roads. All sites will be manned by trained narcotics officers.

First Precinct, 2509 Princess Anne Road (headquarters) 757-385-4377

Second Precinct, 820 Virginia Beach Blvd., (oceanfront) 757-385-2700

Third Precinct, 926 Independence Blvd., (Haygood) 757-385-2703

Fourth Precinct, 840 Kempsville Road 757-385-2800

2nd Patrol Division, 2500 N. Military Highway

Riverfest Colonial Place Festival, information tent, 640 Mayflower road

NPD Operations Center, 3661 e. Virginia Beach Blvd.
