NORFOLK-People living in the Wards Corner area of Norfolk can breathe a little easier - police say they've arrested two men who've been breaking into homes there.

A surveillance camera at one person's home caught the two men standing outside the house around 12:30 p.m. on August 26. Both appear to be wearing an oven mitt on one hand.

According to Talbot Park Civic League President Jim McDonnell, back doors and windows were broken to get into homes off Granby St. He says people living in Belvedere, Talbot Park and Wards Corner say people have been going through the areas offering to do work around their homes.

McDonnell says they are looking for easy targets.

Information on the two men in the surveillance image hasn't been released by police, but Officer Chris Amos says he was notified Tuesday morning the two had been arrested.
