FRANKLIN - Two gunmen barged into a house in Franklin and stole cash and two cell phones.

The home invasion happened around 7:25 p.m. Sunday at a home on Thomas Street.

The two men got in through a unlocked door and once inside, one of them fired a shot into the floor.

There were four people inside at the time, ranging in age from 28 to 47, Lt. Tim Whitt told WVEC.com, and none of them was hurt.

After getting the money and phones, the two men took off and got into a car, believed to be a dark blue Chrysler Sebring, police said.

Police are looking for the robbers. According to witnesses, the gunmen are black, around 6 feet tall. One had a gold tooth and was wearing a black coat. The other has dread locks and was wearing a stocking cap, black pants and a white t-shirt.
