NEWPORT NEWS -- Work to pave a stretch of Warwick Blvd. in Newport News will be done for the next six weekends.

Starting May 3, contractors will work from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. to mill and pave Warwick Boulevard between Dozier Road and Ripley Street.

Only one lane will be open in that area, so avoid the area to avoid delays.

This section of Warwick Boulevard serves as an alternate route for Fort Eustis Boulevard during the bridge replacement project currently underway on that roadway.
