VIRGINIA BEACH - Temperatures this week will be in the 90s, making it tough for people who have to work outside.
On the flight line at NAS Oceana, squadron maintainers were at work around jet engines that spew hot exhaust fumes.
Leaders say they keep a close eye on them and make sure workers drink plenty of water and take a break in the shade when they can.
