WILLIAMSBURG - A man in Williamsburg was stabbed early Friday.

Authorities found him around 1:00 a.m. in the 700 block of Scotland Street.

'The victim is not from Williamsburg. Bystanders encountered the victim after the incident and called 911,' said Major Greg Riley.

Maj. Riley says he'd been stabbed in the abdomen and should recover.

Investigators are working to determine what led to the stabbing and say, at this point they have no suspects. They did not release the victim's name.
