CHESAPEAKE---Chesapeake City Council is confronting problems on a dangerous stretch of road.

Since the summer there have been two fatal accidents on Taylor Road.

The most recent crash involved a school bus at the intersection of Taylor Road and Peppercorn Drive.

On Tuesday, council members approved a safety audit of the entire roadway.

Neighbors say something needs to be done about the speed on Taylor Road.

'They're doing more than 40 miles per hour,' said Kathy Wertz. 'We've sat on our front porch and watched them.'

City officials say the results of the study are expected in a month.
