NEWPORT NEWS -- Police arrested a 20-year-old man who they say threatened to blow up a Newport News business after he was fired Sunday.
Police charged Austyn Brent Challis with one count of threat to bomb, disorderly conduct and trespassing.
According to police, the manager of a business in the 12300 block of Hornsby Lane fired Challis and asked him to leave the property. He allegedly became disorderly in front of customers and made threats to the manager, including threatening to blow up the business.
The suspect allegedly returned three hours later and again threatened the manager.
According to posts on Challis' Facebook page, the place of business was a Cracker Barrel.
