There's good news at the gas pump.The average price for a gallon of gas has fallen four cents in the last three weeks. Experts say that's because the conflict in Iraq has not done as much damage to that country's oil industry as it was expected to do. Of the cities surveyed, Tulsa, Oklahoma had the lowest average price per gallon at $3.35 and San Francisco had the highest at $4.12 a gallon. Here in Hampton Roads we are averaging around $3.50 a gallon.

Citigroup makes a major announcement today. The company agrees to pay 7-Billion dollars in a massive settlement with the Justice Department. The Bank is making the payment to resolve allegations that it sold faulty mortgage-backed securities in the run-up to the 2008 financial crisis. This is also the same day Citigroup is releasing it's second quarter earnings, which experts expect to be down.
