PORTSMOUTH -- The new school year is right around the corner and the Portsmouth Health Department is offering free walk-in clinics for all kindergartners and rising sixth graders.

Kindergartners are required to have DTaP, polio, MMR and varcella vaccines. Sixth graders cannot start class without a Tdap booster shot.

Portsmouth Health Dept., 1701 High Street

When:
Wednesday, August 20 and 27 from 3 - 7 p.m.
Saturday, August 16 and 23 from 12 - 4 p.m.

Health officials stress parents/guardians must have a valid photo ID and the child's shot record.
