What is it? a nail polish infused with metallic particles that move when exposed to the specially designed magnet to create a special effect on your nails

What does it claim? to create 3-D nail art in seconds!

Who tested it? nail polish fan Jada Capers

What Are The Instructions? The first thing you need to do is get your nails ready. To do this, apply a base coat to your nail. Then shake the Magnetic Nail Color to activate it and you're ready to go.
Remove overcap with magnet and set aside. You'll find it right on top of the brush. Apply one coat of Magnetic Nail Color to all 10 nails and let it dry. Once that's done, apply a thick (this is key) second coat of color to one nail and immediately hold the built-in magnet over the nail. Be sure to rest the guide, which is on the side of the magnet, just below the cuticle without touching the wet nail polish. Hold it there for 10 second then repeat for all 10 nails and let them dry. To help your look last longer. you may want to finish with top coat.

Did it work? Capers was pretty impressed. She was skeptical when she started and didn't think it would work. After holding the magnet over her first nail for ten seconds, she squealed with excitement when she lifted it away and saw the design. She declared right away 'it works!' Capers found that a thick second coat was key to making the design really pop. She also said it was a little tricky making sure she didn't get the magnet on the wet nail. So be careful!

Cost/Availability? We purchased our Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail Color on sale at Target for $8.99.
