HAMPTON A motorcycle driver was killed in a two-vehicle crash Sunday night.

Around 8:25 p.m., police responded to Wind Mill Point Rd. and Johnson in the Fox Hill area of the city.

Sgt. Jason Price said a motorcylist and a pickup-truck driver collided, but investigators are still trying to determine who caused the crash.

The man riding the motorcycle has been identified as 48-year-old William Edward Crooker, III of Hampton.

The responding officer found Crooker with life threatening injuries, and the responding members of the Hampton Fire and Rescue Division pronounced him deceased at the scene.

Additional information will be released after his family has been notified.

No charges are filed at this time.
