Consumer Minute: Starbucks costing more & new app to find a new job
If you like Starbucks coffee, get ready to pay more for it. The coffee retailer says starting tomorrow (June 24) some drinks at some locations will cost you more and that's not all. The packages of Starbucks that are sold in grocery stores will also cost about a dollar more. So far, no reason has been given for the increase.
Another big recall to tell you about. This one involving Nissan and Honda. More than 2 million vehicles worldwide are being recalled to repair flaws in air bags. The recall involves air bags that were installed in 13 models between 2000 and 2005.
Here's something that may surprise you. A new survey of air travelers reveals that 60 percent of fliers claim they wouldn't mind paying more in fees, but there's a catch. They're willing to cough up the extra cash only if it means shorter lines!
If you're looking for a new job, LinkedIn may be able to help you out with the release of a new stand-alone app. 'Job search' gives users the freedom to scan listings during the day without logging into their employer's computer. Plus, all the activity done on the app is kept private.
