PORTSMOUTH -- It's a happy ending for Angela Brooks of Norfolk.

13News brought you her story about paying nearly $300 to a mechanic named Jay to fix a window on her Jeep. The window wouldn't roll up or down. She found him through an ad in the Yellow Pages for Autoworks.

A 13News viewer saw her story and wanted to help. Irene Clark, who owns Total Car Care in Portsmouth, said she felt like it was the right thing to do.

'The first thing that came to my mind- I felt so sorry for her,' Clark stated.

Now, looking at her newly-fixed Jeep window, Brooks could not be happier.

'Oh my goodness. Yaaaay. I got my truck back!,' she exclaimed.

As an added bonus, Clark inspected the Jeep for free.

Meanwhile, the search for Jay continues. The Norfolk Police Economics Crimes Unit is investigating Brooks' case.

According to a report by the Better Business Bureau, Autoworks has received at least three similar complaints. The report states the company is owned by Jack Reid and lists an address that is not valid.
