NORFOLK-- After a doctor's review, a judge said Thursday Jamiel Graves is fit to stand trial.

Graves is charged in the death of Phylicia Robinson. Her remains were found in the closet of his Marlow Ave. home late in November, nearly two months after she was reported missing.

She was his neighbor, living in one of the two units of the duplex.

The 26-year-old, who has a 5-year-old son, disappeared on the night of Oct. 3. Her family says her purse, money, cell phone and car were still at her home.

Graves had a preliminary hearing on January 29, 2013 and the judge appointed a public defender for the case, despite the fact that Graves requested that he not be appointed an attorney.

Graves is also charged with the murder of his ex-girlfriend. The body of 29-year-old Mandi Myers was found at her home on Hiawatha Drive on November 26.

Graves' next court appearance is April 9, in General District Court.
