GLOUCESTER--A little boy that our 13News audience supported as he battled through cancer treatments is in remission.

Wes Pak is a 6-year-old Neuroblastoma patient who has been cancer free for a year.

We first introduced you to Wes about three years ago. Since then, his mother, Krista Pak, says they received about $20,000 in donations.

Krista has started a local non-profit event called United In Grace with the mothers of other cancer patients.

The group hopes to help other families that have been affected by cancer.

In only three months, they've sent care packages to children with cancer all over the world.

You can participate in the Family Fun Day on May 19 from 12 until 6 p.m. at Damon's Restaurant in Gloucester, located at 7104 George Washington Memorial Highway.
