NORFOLK--Members of Norfolk City Council, Mayor Paul Fraim and developers announced Friday the purchase of a 7.8 acre industrial site and a new $10 million retail development investment.

Developers want to build a WalMart Neighborhood Market and a convenience store at the corner of Princess Anne Rd. and Ingleside Rd.

The stores could open as early as 2015.

The deal still needs approval from the city.
