VIRGINIA BEACH - The bodies of three dead kittens were found in a bag that was hung on a fence in a Va. Beach neighborhood.

Animal Control officials say the remains of the grey and white kittens were found June 20 on Scarborough Way in the Scarborough Square neighborhood.

The man who found the bag says he thinks someone did it out of retaliation because he'a been catching feral cats and turning them in to Animal Control.

Investigators say necropsies couldn't determine how the kittens died and that talking to people in the area hasn't led them to the person or persons who left the bag.
