GLOUCESTER-Police have arrested a man they robbed a bank in Gloucester County shortly after it opened Thursday.

Police arrested Daniel Michael Weaver, 28, of the 500 block of Kingtown Road in King and Queen County, around 5 p.m. Friday. He was charged with Robbery and Threats to Bomb regarding the threat to use explosives during the robbery.

Weaver is being held in the Gloucester County Jail without bond.

Police say Weaver went into the SunTrust Bank at Gloucester Point, 1478 George Washington Memorial Highway, around 9:15 a.m. Thursday and handed the teller a note saying he'd use explosives he had if he didn't get money.

Authorities say Weaver then walked out, went around the back and was last seen walking on Lafayette Heights Dr.
