Toyota announced overnight what could be one of the biggest auto recalls ever. The Japanese automaker is recalling more than six million vehicles worldwide because of steering problems. It involves several models made between 2004 and 2010 including the Yari, Rav-4 and Corolla. Toyota says it is not aware of any accidents because of the problems.

Extreme weather out west is being blamed for beef prices being at an all time high, and experts say those prices are not expected to come down anytime soon. The extreme weather has thinned the nation's cattle herds to levels last seen in the 1950s when there were half as many mouths to feed. The retail price of USDA choice grade beef is now at $5.28 a pound. That's up almost thirty cents from a year ago.

The number of stay-at-home moms is also on the rise. 29 percent of moms stayed home full-time to raise their chidren in 2012. That's up from 23 percent in 2000. Researchers say the spike is due in part to the difficult job market.
