YORK COUNTY -- Police are investigating an attempted robbery at a York County Credit Union Friday morning.

According to Lt. Ivey, the suspect gave a teller at the Credit Union Service Center on Rt. 17 a note, demanding a stack of $100 and $50 dollar bills.

Ivey said the teller pushed the panic button, and the suspect took his note and ran out of the credit union without any money.

No other information was released.
