WASHINGTON, DC -- Check your pantry if you use McCormick Ground Oregano.

The company is recalling 1,032 cases of 0.75 oz bottles because of possible salmonella contamination, which was found during routine testing. The bottles were recently shipped to stores in 41 states, including Virginia and North Carolina.

The recall does not impact any other McCormick Ground, Whole or Oregano Leaves products, officials noted.

If you have the item, contact McCormick's Consumer Affairs divison at 1-800-632-5847, weekdays from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM (Eastern Time), for a replacement or full refund.
