UPDATE 4/29/14: Terrence Darrelle Henderson was sentenced by Judge J. Thomas Padrick Jr. to serve 10 years in prison for involuntary manslaughter.

UPDATE 9/26: Terrence Darrelle Henderson was found guilty by a jury of involuntary manslaughter. The jury recommended he serve 10 years in prison. He will be formally sentenced on January 15, 2014.

CHARLESTON, S.C.-- A man wanted for murder in Virginia Beach was arrested in a suburb of Charleston on Tuesday.

According to WCIV-TV, 29-year-old Terrence Henderson was arrested by U.S. Marshals, members of the Charleston County Sheriff's Office and the North Charleston Police Department in Islandton.

He was charged by Virginia Beach Police with the murder of 23-year-old Leon L. Hymons II at the Waffle House on Northampton Boulevard on June 1st.

Beach police took out warrants for Henderson on June 2nd and had been searching for him since then.

According to WCIV, Operation Intercept, the U.S. Marshal led fugitive task force in South Carolina, was led to the home in Islandton by the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force in Norfolk.

Investigators told WCIV that they saw Henderson trying to escape out of a side window of a home in Islandton and was taken into custody.

Henderson is in the Colleton County Detention Center and faces extradition to Virginia Beach.
