HAMPTON -- The driver of an SUV was flown to the hospital after an early Friday crash in Hampton.
Police say the 2011 GMCSUV struck a parked trailer, a parked pick-up truck and went through a fence before stopping in a yard on Rendon Drive around 1:40 a.m.
The driver, a 33-year-old Hampton man, had to cut the driver out of the vehicle.
Capt. Anthony Chittum with the Hampton Fire Dept. says the man had severe facial injuries and was flown to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital's trauma unit for treatment.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
