HAMPTON-Two women are charged in a home burglary investigation in Hampton.

Police arrested Lemon Hill and Kassandra Featherston after they ran from a home on Silver Isles Blvd. Monday afternoon.

Spokeswoman Cpl. Mary Shackelford tells WVEC.com the homeowner spotted them leaving the back of the home and get into a car around 12:30 p.m.

The car was found on Fort Worth Street and the women were found in the area of Windjammer and Schooner drives.

Investigators say the two women burglarized one home and tried to take items from another Silver Isles Blvd. home.

'The stolen electronics were recovered in the 400 block of Willow Oaks Blvd.,' Cpl. Shackelford adds.

Hill, 20, is charged with breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony, grand larceny and attempt to commit a non-capital offense.

Featherston, 39, is charged with two counts of breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony and grand larceny.

A third person in the car has not been charged as the investigation continues.
