SUFFOLK-- Four people are displaced after a fire breaks out in a home on Sunday afternoon.

Just after 11:30 a.m. a house burst into flames at the 1100 block of Lake Kennedy Drive. One woman and three teenagers escaped from the home unharmed after the smoke detector was triggered.

Fire officials said that the fire was confined to the kitchen and was quickly brought under control.

There was moderate smoke damage throughout the house.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The people that lived in the house will be staying with relatives.
