VIRGINIA BEACH - Polls open at 6 a.m. Tuesday for voters in the 100th House District.

The special election was needed after former Delegate Lynwood Lewis was elected to the state Senate by less than a dozen votes.

Vying to replace the Democrat are Republican Nominee Rob Bloxom of Mappsvileand Democrat Willie C. Randall of Cape Charles.

The 100th District covers Accomack and Northampton counties and part of the City of Norfolk. Polls close at 7 p.m.
