VIRGINIA BEACH -- A truck crashed into a Virginia Beach school bus carrying students from Salem High School Tuesday afternoon.

It is unclear how many students were on board the bus, which was struck at the intersection of Kempsville Road and Albright Drive.

Davina Rumble's daughter was on the bus and told 13News Now traffic reporter Ashley Smith the girl was shaken up.

'The bus was about to turn left onto Kempsville and the bus driver said she saw the truck out of the corner of her eye coming towards her and stopped. Then the truck jumped the curb and ran into the bus,' Rumble said.

School officials said nobody on the bus was injured.
