There may finally be at least a little good news at the gas pump. According to the Energy Information Administration, gas prices dropped for the first time in 13 weeks. The average price of gasoline fell almost three cents to $3.68 a gallon. Analysts predict that gas prices will increase a bit during the summer driving season. But should fall again by the end of September.

Office Depot plans to close at least 400 stores in the U.S. According to company officials,. those closings are a byproduct of the overlap created by last year's merger with Office Max. At least 150 stores are expected to close this year.

Sears is another retailer shutting down stores. Since 2010, Sears has closed 305 stores and now there are plans to close more. Sears, which also includes Kmart chains, is trying to reverse years of losses and declining sales.

Subway is testing out hummus as a topping to try and appeal to more health-conscious customers. This will give customers a meatless option. If it's a hit, it could soon be available at all 26,000 Subway locations across the country. But heads up -- this topping, like the avocados already being offered, will cost you more.
