NORFOLK -- Three of ten businesses put on the Navy's off-limits list five months ago are back in its good graces.

The Navy said in November that Fantasy Inc. on Jefferson Ave. in Newport News, Skinnie's Records on 22nd St. in Norfolk and Papa Joe's Smoke Shop on S. Lynnhaven Road in Virginia Beach were selling designer drugs like Spice.

'These businesses were removed from the off limits list when they demonstrated that they no longer engaged in the sale,' according to a Navy release.

The Armed Forces Disciplinary Control Board of Southeastern Virginia and Northeastern North Carolina is an investigative committee composed of members from each military service and civilian advisers, who work with local law enforcement agencies and local businesses to prevent unfair, dangerous, or criminal practices against military members.
